Naturally dried flowers will have less pigment over time and it is something normal in a natural process
White Bouquets

We preserve all-white blooms, even with tendency to brown during the preservation process. While we understand this choice from a design perspective (as all-white bouquets offer less dimension and variety for our designers), we believe that every flower deserves to be treasured forever.
Here are a few things to keep in mind when ordering an all-white bouquet:
Expect Browning

The moment a flower is cut from its stem, the process of browning begins at a microscopic level. This is a natural and inevitable part of its life cycle. While we take every possible step to reduce browning, white flowers are particularly prone to this change—occurring in about 95% of cases. Even the most vibrant, freshly picked white blooms will develop some browning during preservation, though flowers that arrive in peak condition will retain more of their original beauty than those that already show signs of aging.
With time, all flowers will naturally lose some of their color, even when securely enclosed in a frame. Flowers are delicate, fleeting pieces of nature, much like all living things. At Pressed Floral, we honor the organic beauty of each bloom in its most natural form. However, it's important to understand that pressed flowers will not maintain the same brightness they had when freshly cut.
✨ Design Tip:
Enhance the look of your all-white bouquet by adding greenery and filler flowers—this will create beautiful contrast and depth in your final framed piece!

How Flowers Brown Differently

We know that white flowers tend to darken during preservation, but every bloom dries in its own unique way. Your all-white flowers may take on shades of ivory, soft yellow, or light brown. If you're aiming for a neutral décor match, keep in mind that this natural variation can make it tricky. We recommend choosing a darker frame—like natural wood, walnut brown, or sleek black—since white frames tend to highlight the fading of white flowers over time.
Your Options
No need to worry! We’re here to help and will communicate with you throughout the process. The most important thing is to follow our shipping instructions carefully to keep your flowers as fresh as possible. Send them as soon as you can, and consider preparing for shipping in advance. To prevent browning, avoid wrapping flowers in plastic, as this can cause moisture buildup, mold, and discoloration during transit.

Blooms Replacing
If your flowers brown more than you'd like, we offer the option to replace them with fresher blooms from our inventory. These will not be your original flowers but will be carefully selected to resemble your bouquet. Even with replacements, we ensure that each flower is thoughtfully arranged to represent your special moment, creating a keepsake you'll cherish forever.
